This offseason, the Angels lost half of the reason I was a partial fan of them. Eckstein and Kennedy were the 2 reasons I rooted for the Angels and when they lost Eckstein, I became less of a fan of them. I've barely followed them this year anymore.

I was sorry to see him go. The only advantage to Cabrera, so far, is his better range and stronger arm. But he has , I believe the same number of rbi as Eck. I like Kennedy insofar as his attitude and clubhouse presence are concerned, but I wihs he was more of an offensive threat. But his defense is better than it used to be, and he still hasn't quite settled into his game yet.

Yeah...I see Kennedy missed the whole first month of the season so he's probably just shaking off the rust. I see he's raised his average in the past week, which is a good sign. Oh well, I wonder if my #22 Eckstein Angels shirt is worth anything now.

The Eckstein shirt is still a great collectors item. But have you seen the way he's hitting in the NL? The last I saw he was hitting .310 or so. And gets to play with one of my favorite Angels, Jim Edmonds.

Being a Phillies fan, I just saw him in the last series. The best part about Eckstein is that he is a bitch to strike out. 152 AB's and only 8 K's. After going 2-4 tonight, he's hitting .314 and has 21 runs scored. That's why he's my second favorite position player behind JRoll, also because he goes all out on every play and he's a scrappy guy.

Right. I love his attitude and hustle, all out all the time. Reminds me of a slightly smaller Erstad. And he has fun playing.
