Whoooo-eee! Something stinks around here, and it's Washburn. When he starts throwing up in the strike zone, they are going to drive the ball. And he was up early and often. At no point was he quite in sync. Well, one bad game. Write it off and concentrate on the next start.

The last 6 or 7 games represent one of the finest stretches of pitching we've ever seen out of Washburn. His ERA is 3.06. Has it EVER been lower. It is his misfortune that he isn't getting many decisions, but he's been performing at his highest level for about 6 weeks. As have most of the Angels starters.
