Collin, the fourth round selection of the Montreal Expos in the 2004 draft, is in his first season with the Sand Gnats. The big right hander throws his fastball in the 91-92 mph range consistently, reaching 95 mph on occaision. Collin has emerged early on this season as the ace of the Gnats rotation, going 3-0 with a 2.22 ERA. He's also struck out 21 hitters and walked only seven in 28.1 innings of work


Donno if there are any Nats fans, but this kid lives close to me and i must say hes going to be a good one... i wonder how quickly he will move through the system?

with the number of guy that have issues staying healthy, Ohka, Day, Armas. I wouldnt be too suprised to see him at some point this season, certainly when they have rookie callups in the fall.
