I am a season ticket holder for the Milwaukee Bucks and attended the Kickoff party on Thursday, 9/23/04 at the Bradley Center. While I intended on obtaining as many autographs as possible (Terry Porter, all asst. coaches, TV broadcasters, TJ Ford, Dan Gadzuric, Joe Smith, Keith Van Horn, Mo Williams, Mike James and Desmond Mason were all there) my goal was to obtain Desmond Mason's. He had the longest line waiting for his autographs (many mentions of how no one went to Mike James but were crowding Desmond) than any other player (TJ came in second I'd say). There is a good reason why. Obviously if you are a fan of dunks, he's a first choice on our team or even the NBA. My reason is both professionally and personally I feel he is the Buck's franchise player. He earns a lot of respect for how he plays, conducts himself on the court and what he contributes personally to the team and community. I admit when Ray Allen left I was angered at the Bucks, but Desmond fits in very well replacing Allen (who also earns respect in my book). I just felt the need to sing his praises.
Anyone else have thoughts or comments on Desmond and him being our team leader (Michael Redd is another good choice for that also).
And I did get his autograph!! :D

Mike James will be a beast. Hope he can be a big contributer this year. He learned how to win on the Pistons. Now he has to carry it over here.

I didn't say it and I should have. I did obtain Mike James' autograph too. And not to mislead, there were people asking for his autograph and picture also. I do welcome him to the team and know he'll be a huge factor in our team's success.

Hey how was Keith Van Horn's line? I'm a big fan of him. I hope he has some other fans too. He will have a good year. Bold perdiction: 49-33.

I didn't get a chance to really observe all lines. I got into Desmond's line at 5:50 pm and didnt' get up to him for my autograph until 6:45 pm. When I was at courtside, from my observation, Desmond's line still was long. Coming in second longest was TJ Ford/Terry Porter. The lines for KVH/Mo Williams and Gadzuric/Santiago looked to be shorter. I couldn't see specifically KVH to say how many autograph seekers were for him to be honest. He also left early that evening.
