I really dont like to single players out in a loss. But last night Guzman made an great stop but and errant throw with the bases loaded and 2 outs, 2 runs crossed the plate making the score 2-1. Johnson couldnt pick it as it skipped across the grass. If he makes the out the Nats win. If he holds the ball its a tie score. The error was probably the worst case scenario.

Guzman had better get his act in gear. Hes not hit all year, he cant afford to not be solid on D too.

I think everyone will be ok with the "even if he isn't hitting he's helping in the field" line, as long as he's not HURTING them in the field.

Totally ruined Pattersons Gem. He left before the 8th, 2 hit shutout intact. Corrasco worked a perfect 8th and Cordero came in to shut the door in the 9th. I guess Chad is at fault too for letting the bases get loaded. Single, walk, single is how they were loaded.
