http://sportsmed.starwave.com/i/teamlogos/mlb/sml/trans/atl.gif 1. Atlanta Braves (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=atl): Mike Hampton has slowly worked himself back into being a very reliable pitcher. Yeah, Leo Mazzone is once again proving he's a genius. (Last week's ranking: 3)

http://sportsmed.starwave.com/i/teamlogos/mlb/sml/trans/phi.gif 2. Philadelphia Phillies (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=phi): Pat Burrell is on pace to hit 72 home runs and drive in 306 runs. Holy ... (Last week's ranking: 12)

http://sportsmed.starwave.com/i/teamlogos/mlb/sml/trans/lad.gif 3. Los Angeles Dodgers (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=lad): What's not to love about Cesar Izturis? He's already a Gold Glover at shortstop and quickly improving at the plate. (Last week's ranking: 18)

http://sportsmed.starwave.com/i/teamlogos/mlb/sml/trans/chw.gif 4. Chicago White Sox (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=chw): If he stays healthy, Scott Podsednik could top 70 stolen bases, the amount he snagged last season while with the Brewers. (Last week's ranking: 22)

http://sportsmed.starwave.com/i/teamlogos/mlb/sml/trans/mil.gif 5. Milwaukee Brewers (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=mil): With Ben Sheets leading the way, this is a team that's clearly on the rise. (Last week's ranking: 23)

Looking good so far.

Other AL Central opponents:

http://sportsmed.starwave.com/i/teamlogos/mlb/sml/trans/min.gif 8. Minnesota Twins (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=min): We say Joe Nathan will top the majors in saves in '05 -- to be exact, he'll record 53 saves. (Last week's ranking: 4)

http://sportsmed.starwave.com/i/teamlogos/mlb/sml/trans/det.gif 18. Detroit Tigers (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=det): Kyle Farnsworth has been lights out, but Troy Percival and Ugueth Urbina appear to be shells of their former selves. (Last week's ranking: 19)

http://sportsmed.starwave.com/i/teamlogos/mlb/sml/trans/cle.gif 22. Cleveland Indians (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=cle): Juan going, going ... Gonzalez won't get to extended spring training until April 18. What a shock. (Last week's ranking: 9)

http://sportsmed.starwave.com/i/teamlogos/mlb/sml/trans/kan.gif 28. Kansas City Royals (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=kan): Six walks in eight games for David DeJesus. Royals have no worries about their future in center field. (Last week's ranking: 30)

The phillies bring their awesome 4-5 record in for the #2 spot? Makes sense to me.

Also, looking at their division the marlins are only 5-4, and have scored 44 runs and given up 15. That sucks.
