This team certainly has a thing for drama. But while the wins are nice, they arent going to be able to makes these comebacks all season long. I'd like to see them control an entire game, not just sneak in a tthe last second. Some of these closers are going to get much sharper as the season goes on.

Don't you almost feel a bit of responsibility for this team? For these fans. Almost like the people don't know what they're doing?
Its definetly strange. The TV deal hasnt been finalized, in fact the guide still shows other show while the games are really playing.
Thier home opener is thursday. Theres a bit of a debachle over the parking situation. THe smart people will be taking the metro.
But the spirit is there.

I can't believe they let Angelos get away with this crap. I also can't believe they are only showing half the games on TV. I mean, I'm angry because I have MLB.tv and when they play the Phils I get blocked out because obviously I'm in the area, and if the game isn't on TV, I can't watch it.
Although, I am happy I get to go watch the Phils live now.

I'm going out of my way to see as many games as possible this year. In a way i feel responsible, but only because i want them to stay here in DC

Theres been a few complaints and they are upping the # of games being televised from 60 to 120. I'll see if i can find it

I don't think this year is the problem. It's 5-10 years down the road that worries me. They have already tripped out of the box with this TV deal, this does nothing but hinder this team, such a joke.

i'm going to the game on april 26th

It's almost looking like the 27th is the only one I'm going to be able to catch. Afternoon game.

working makes some of those afternoon games difficult. The 26th is a 7 pm game. Thats about perfect for me.
did you see that link i had above that says the increase in televised games?

Yes, that makes me very happy. Last night, no game on TBS, no game on UPN. Can't watch the Nats in this area. I'd be angry if I was a fan. But, at least I'm not at home...that would be a real headache for me considering they'll probably be the last to get any type of Nationals games and I'd still be in the blackout. School limits me from goign to the first two games of that series, although I'm open to skipping on either monday or tuesday as they get close. I still have to ask off for the 27th. Damn.

I watched them last night. Channel 20. Like i said the guide is still showing other shows in the time slots. They were on just 30 minutes after the O's game started on Comcast sports net. (get your game on!)

I'm not going to lie, I didn't look very hard. I had the Phils, Sixers and that battle of the gridiron stars all on at the same time. Was thrilled to find out they had beat the Braves, made the Phils lose not sting as much.
