Jayhawk
04-08-2005, 09:50 PM
So you know Buck. He seems real easy to root for.
johnbuckfan
04-08-2005, 09:51 PM
Actually my mom works with his aunt. So she gave us the tickets.

No kidding? I got a 12 year old who is learning to play the sax. Got any ideas for musicians he can put on a CD to enjoy the sax?
Royals still up 3-0 for all those other people in here who are curious......lol

I listen to heavy metal mostly, but one of the best songwriters is Rik Emmett. He used to play in Triumph, since then he calmed down. his new album Good Faith has some sax on it, your kid could jam to. I play guitar and piano mostly, with some other instruments thrown in. So I can't recomend much else than that, considering I never picked up a sax.

Sweeney with an RBI. This could be a real fun year if this keeps up.
I'm not big on metal. Sorry bro.

Hey dude that's alright. I can listen to anything but rap. That stuff I can't stand.
Jayhawk
04-08-2005, 10:30 PM
Very little rap do I enjoy. The older I get the more mellow I have become. I've actually been known to pop in some jazz or classical lately........but that is very rare
johnbuckfan
04-08-2005, 10:32 PM
Like I said check out Rik Emmett's solo stuff. He does it all singer-songwriter, jazz, classical, pop. And he's an amazing guitarist. He just doesn't get the respect he should since he's from canada.
johnbuckfan
04-08-2005, 10:42 PM
still 5-1. This is an awesome game.

Grafinino is having a great start to the year. Looks like he doesn't wanna lose his job just yet.
johnbuckfan
04-08-2005, 10:45 PM
I think he will. Gotay and Teahen need to get ready for the majors. Since they are our future. Here's a link for rik Emmett if you wanna check out his stuff:

How many more innings will Bautistia last? Why don't they ever leave Greinke in this long? It seems like he always left after the sixth.
Jayhawk
04-08-2005, 10:59 PM
First game of the series, I say let him go. Save your bullpen for the weekend. Unless it gets scary.
johnbuckfan
04-08-2005, 11:11 PM
It's not scary, he's only thrown 102 pitches or so. I think Cerda is coming in. We might need Affelt tomorrow.
Jayhawk
04-08-2005, 11:16 PM
Yeah, why bring Affeldt in with a 5 run lead?
johnbuckfan
04-08-2005, 11:21 PM
Looks like he's gonna stay, but Cerda will keep warm just in case.
johnbuckfan
04-08-2005, 11:29 PM
Affledt came in gave up one.
Final score 6-2.
JB out.
