View Full Version : 70 games to 150
The junkies today reported that the number of Nats games on tv could increase in the next week or so. Talks are going on.
Sweet!
Speaking of which, the address for "you-know-what" got erased a while back so I haven't been able to listen on delay. Can you send it to me again via PM?

More Nats Games On Broadcast TV - 4/8 - http://www.dcrtv.org/national.jpgLook for Major League Baseball to increase the number of Nationals games on broadcast TV from approximately 70 to 120. In fact, the next nine Nats outings will be on Channel 20. That's because the DC team's fans are complaining that the Nationals non-broadcast channel, Orioles-owned Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, isn't yet available on cable or satellite. There's more from the DC Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A35042-2005Apr7.html), the DC Times (http://www.washingtontimes.com/sports/20050408-123031-2553r.htm), the Baltimore Sun (http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/baseball/bal-sp.natstv08apr08,1,1118991.story?coll=bal-sports-headlines), and the DC Examiner (http://www.dcexaminer.com/articles/2005/04/07/columns_sports/jim_williams/90col08williams.txt)....

That's cool. Tell your buddy that the secret is safe with me.
I was up last Saturday night looking for the show, I thought maybe Comcast had changed their minds. Good to know that wasn't the case.

what had happened was, the "What the brothers be sayin" segment was deemed to hot for tv by a 70 year old Comcast guy. So they yanked the whole thing. They near promissed this weekend would be the debut, 99%.
Re: the TV deal, if they do it right, we should be able to see every game. There's no sense in worrying about the games that are already scheduled to be broadcast on TBS or WGN.
I realize that people who don't have cable won't be able to watch those games, but how many people who weight less than 3 tons actually don't have cable now?

I'll have to remember to Tivo it.
