Not sure why we picked up Robert Holcombe for one year. Is there a chance we picked him up to trade Larry Johnson? Miami might still be interested in him. Not sure if a LJ for Surtain trade would be in the works but it would save us a bunch of money.

He is another of Vermeil's former Rams who helped him win his SB. Those players are like crack to Vermeil.

Ain't that the truth............hopefully we just have one more year of the Vermeil era. I'm ready for some new blood.

Hasn't he hit his limit with KC so far? He has a record of only staying with each team for so many years, aka The Larry Brown Principle.

I was actually getting tired of him here in St. Louis up until he won the Super Bowl. He sucked until management made him hire all new coaches (Martz being one of them) and he was basically relegated to the role of babysitter the final year. Lucky for him that was what worked since he won the SB. He worked great as long as he kept his hands off the nuts and bolts of the operation.

My biggest complaint about him when he was here though, which I know bothers some of you KC'ers, is that he is way too loyal to his coaches. He will stick with somebody even if it's obvious that they're not doing their job. Like I said, management had to make him fire some coaches.

People are real upset around here he is keeping the secondary coach.......can't remember his name. Sounds like the same problems you had in St Louis.

I for one am ready for him to hang it up but can put up with one more year before we rock the boat. I am ready for Carl Peterson to leave though that is for sure.

I think everyone but Lamar is ready for King Carl to leave. Anyone that is dumb enough to think two years ago this D didnt need an overhaul needs to be dumped into the Missouri River during January.
