Just got back from work expecting to see the 3-0 loss. Can't be happier about that.

I was about to be really pissed off at the lack of offense.


And again, i may reiterate, the game was on wgn, yet because i'm at work, i missed what was probably an awesome game.

Haha... me too. I got home I guess right after the game ended. Even worse then being at work the entire time. If I drove about 10mph faster the entire way home, I would have likely seen Konerko's home run etc etc.

See, that's why i drive like a maniac on the way home. You never know what you'll miss in that 5 minutes.

I turned on the game during the 7th inning stretch. The 7th and 8th looked pretty ugly for the Sox offense, and I was getting pretty upset about the offense too. One run, and that only b/c of an error, in seventeen innings is horrible. When Konerko was coming up to bat, Hawk was talking about how few homeruns Wickman gives up b/c he keeps the ball low. Then Wickman didn't get the ball down against Konerko and Dye. Willie had a nice bunt to move the runners to second and third (and got on b/c Wickman bobbled the ball). And Uribe hit it deep enough to get the run home. It was a great team effort with everybody doing their part. Hopefully they can get the sweep to start off the season.
