San Francisco - Aaron Rodgers : A solid prospect for a rebuilding franchise, immediate upgrade over Rattay and Dorsey.

Miami - Ronnie Brown : Arguably the best all around back in the draft.

Cleveland - Alex Smith : Derrick Johnson or a running back is an option, but they skipped on Roethlisburger last year, and Dilfer is a short term solution. Alex Smith could turn out to be even better than Rodgers.

Chicago - Braylon Edwards : It wouldn't be surprising to the see them trade down, as many teams would be interested in this pick, if they stay then Edwards is a fine pick to help that 32nd ranked pass offense in the league.

Tampa Bay - Cedric Benson : While Gruden might have his eyes set on Mike Williams, there's no denying the 29th ranked rush offense they had last season. Benson is a potential franchise back that the Buccaneers need, but there's a good shot Tampa takes Mike Williams here.

Tennessee - Adam Jones : Antrel Rolle and Adam Jones are the two top cornerbacks available, but many prefer Adam Jones. The Titans lost Samari Rolle and a CB is an obvious choice.

Minnesota - Mike Williams : He's got the size of Randy Moss, and plenty of talent. Another big target for Culpepper.

Arizona - Cadillac Williams : The team could go three different ways, a QB, CB, or a RB. But they need a running back worst of all, and Williams is a fine running back.

Washington - Antrel Rolle : They lost Fred Smoot, and Springs seems to have trouble staying healthy, so Rolle is a solid pick here.

Detroit - Alex Barron : Now that McDougle signed with Miami, this position is in desperate need for depth and talent. Barron is the best OL in the draft by far.

Dallas - Derrick Johnson : The best linebacker in the draft, and has what it takes to be a star in the NFL. He could be taken by Cleveland, or even Minnesota if they find Williams and Edwards gone by their pick.

San Diego - Dan Cody : If he falls here SD will be thrilled, he is the type of DE that will put constant pressure on the QB and is excellent at stopping the run

Houston - Shawne Merriman : If Barron is available, he is the obvious pick. Houston hasn't shown too much interest in the undersized Jammal Brown. A logical move would be to trade down and grab somebody like Khalif Barnes while adding a draft pick to address their many needs. The team has it's biggest needs at outside linebacker, and Merriman would be the best fit available.

Carolina - Troy Williamson : Muhammad wasn't as big of a loss as some like to think, but adding a WR to compete with Colbert is not a bad idea. Jammal Brown or Heath Miller are all possibilities here too.

Kansas City - Carlos Rodgers : This team has plenty of needs on the defensive side of the ball, and should probably trade down to add depth and youth. Rodgers is the best CB available at this spot, unless Rolle is available.

New Orleans - Thomas Davis - Signing FS Dwight Smith was a solid move, but they still have major issues in this department. Bellamy and Tebucky Jones combined to have 5 picks the past 2 seasons. Davis is the playmaker they need, and is the best safety available. He hits so hard some project him as a weakside linebacker.

Cincinnati - Travis Johnson : He will be an upgrade over their current defensive tackles, and will help their 26th ranked run defense.

Minnesota - Erasmus James : They'll be fortunate if he falls this far, the only reason he would is because of his injury problems. He's the best pure pass rusher in the draft, and Minnesota is in a defensive state of mind these days.

St. Louis - Jammal Brown : They need a serious upgrade in the offensive line. Resigning Pace shows Martz's intent on having a strong offensive line. Brown is undersized, but is very athletic, and would be a very good pick if he's available. Shaun Cody would be another option to help ease the pain of losing Wistrom.

Dallas - Shaun Cody : Dallas needs a versatile defensive lineman who attracts attention. None other fit the ball quite like him. A reciever like Mark Clayton is possibility, but adding Cody with Derrick Johnson would be an excellent move for the franchise.

Jacksonville - Mark Clayton : The team desperately needs a weapon for Leftwich, and Clayton has playmaker written all over him. If none of the top 4 recievers are available, Pollack is a good option.

Baltimore - Khalif Barnes : The team is desperate for OL help, and Barnes would make a solid tackle opposite Odgen. If Clayton is available here he makes a solid pick. Trading down and grabbing somebody like Elton Brown or David Baas might be the best option here.

Seattle - David Pollack : Seattle needs some help on the DL, and Pollack projects to be a solid starter in the NFL with his motor and intensity.

Green Bay - Brodney Pool : It would be ideal if Thomas Davis were available, but chances are he is snatched up by the time Green Bay picks. Brodney Pool is a good choice to replace Darren Sharper and add depth to the secondary.

Denver - Matt Roth : Despite the trash picking Denver did in Cleveland, Roth is a solid defensive end with major talent, he could go before Pollack. If they feel they are content with the defensive line, upgrading the secondary would be another option. Herndon signed with Seattle and Lenny Walls has injury problems. Justin Miller would be a good option, but so would Fabian Washington (whose stock recently went up when he ran a 4.28 at the NFL combine).

(A)New York - Heath Miller : There are plenty of concerns of his availability at this pick. Pittsburgh could trade up and snatch him, or a team like Carolina could as well. If the Jets want to be sure, they'll have to trade up. If they don't and he's gone, a cornerback wouldn't be a bad choice.

Atlanta - Elton Brown : This may be a bit early for him to be drafted, but the OL is a huge concern. If Barnes or Jammal Brown are available, they will pounce on them. They need to add depth and talent to an offensive line that gave up 50 sacks. If they want Vick to settle down and mature as a passer, beefing up the OL would be a nice investment. Brodney Pool is another option if he is available.

San Diego - Roddy White : White is a very good reciever and another legit threat, and SD could use all the offensive threats they can get their hands on.

Indianapolis - Cory Webster : He is an all around great corner. A hamstring injury this season hurt his stock, but Indy could get a steal in the late first round with Webster.

Pittsburgh - Matt Jones : As much as I find this ridiculous, Pittsburgh has a thing for converting QB's into recievers. Just look at Hines Ward and Randal El. The guy is 6 foot 6 and 220 pounds, and could also play tight end, another position of weakness for Pittsburgh.

Philadelphia Eagles - Ciatrick Fason : The Eagles were ranked second to last in rushing attempts last season. Buckhalter has been injured the past two seasons, and Westbrook is not an every down back. Fason has the size and speed Philadelphia wants, and is also the recieving threat that they rely on in the WCO. A linebacker would be another option, Blackstock or Burnett. But Philadelphia has another pick in four rounds, where either Blackstock or Burnett should be available, and chances are San Francisco takes Fason with their pick if available.

New England - Marlin Jackson : The Patriots have a few needs in the draft. They include linebacker and cornerback. Bruschi doesn't appear to be ready to play next season, and the Patriots secondary was devestated last season with injuries. Ty Law is gone, and they need another cornerback for depth, youth, and talent. This year is deep in cornerbacks, and Jackson is the physical corner that Belichick loves.

matt jones is 6'6", 242 lbs. he ran a 4.37 forty.

the eagles will not draft a running back with their first pick. if faison slips down to midway thru the second round, the eagles may trade up to get him, but they will not usse either of their first two picks to draft him.

after coaching him at the senior bowl, gruden is high on carnell williams, and if it came down to him or brenson, gruden would likely take williams.

I've seen Fason going as low as the third round.

^ That won't happen.

Fason is the best available back besides Williams, Benson, and Brown. Did he have a horrid pro day or something that I'm not aware of?

He definitely would not get past the second round, San Francisco would take him with their second pick to split carries with underachieving Barlow, and would eventually get the starting job.

If the Eagles don't go RB or WR, Burnett is another option, and so is the offensive line.

I think he was slow as fuck at the combine. I'd rather get Shelton in the second.

I think they'll trade up for Barnes, or Barron if he falls far enough.

Barron won't fall to us, too many teams would grab him. Detroit, Houston, Carolina, Baltimore.

Fason is better than Shelton, and even if he ran a 4.5 40 yard dash he's still going to go higher. I'm far from sold on Shelton.

He said they may TRADE UP if he falls far enough.

Shelton may be there late in the second. From what I know of the two, that is a better value to me.

Shelton's a poor reciever, what good would he do us if he can't catch or get open out of the backfield? Fason has better size and speed, and his greatest attribute is his recieving ability. If we take a RB, I'm hoping it's not Shelton.

Personally, I'm hoping Burnett is our first pick, or maybe Roddy White. Burnett gives us more depth and is NFL ready. I like Blackstock too, though. It's a tough choice. Burnett and Blackstock could both be available with our second pick, at least one of them should.

The draft is too far away.
