=============================================

Turns out dude just folded on his team. This is fine news for us either way:

1. They trade him for less value. Team loses a lot of defense, youth, and a long valuable contract. They already lost a good young player in the harrington deal, depending on whom they trade him for this could be a major loss of toughness and we know how important that is to a Carlisle team.

2. They keep him, and now that this has leaked its gonna cause a lot of chemistry issues. Word was dude had his head on straight, but this just shows that at any time he could just go off. Rick is not a good coach at dealing with personal problems. It took him two seasons to wear thin in Det with a good core of people. This could become a major issue this year.

Maybe Artest just needs someone to keep him in check. For instance, Sheed, everyone (in the media) was talking bout how it was a risky move and how he could rip the team apart.....well, we saw those results first hand. Or maybe he just needs Reggie to slap him upside the head and say "Look here son, this is the NBA, we're professionals so how bout you act like it."

Then again, maybe he's just a nutjob who needs to learn to relax.

Artests problems are internal and no external force, Reggie or otherwise, will be able to set his head straight. Not that I mind entirely, but it really is kinda sad. He is seriously emotionally disturbed.

I'm presuming we'll see him in an ESPN movie or a Beyond the Glory in like 10 years. I'll be telling my kids, "man that guy was great but he was KRAY-Zay!" (insert sound of children laughing). It's really going to be interesting to see whre this takes him though as $ and talent ALWAYS superscedes common sense.

Over under on teams he plays for------7
