I'm boerd what can I say, figuered I would do a 2nd version of my draft with trades. Granted I don't have any number system to see if the picks are fair. If you feel they aren't, let me know. And HEREEEEE WE GO.

1. 49ers - Aaron Rodgers, QB, California
No one wants the first rounder, SF needs a QB. Hometown boy will do the trick.

2. Dolphins - Ronnie Brown, RB, Auburn
Worst kept secret out of this whole round.

3. TRADE Chargers - Mike Williams, WR, USC
Chargers send both first rounders this year and a 2nd rounder next year. And they get their WR of the future. Whoever it is that's throwing to him.

4. Bears - Braylon Edwards, WR, Michigan
Bears get their guy, even with nightmares of David Terrel haunting them. This will be different.

5. Bucs - Carnell Williams, RB, Auburn
Williams is gone.....Gruden knows Garner is done, Pittman won't change his ways. Loves this kid.

6. Titans - Antrell Rolle, CB, Miami
Pac Man's over rated, they go with a corner they know will help their lack of a secondary.

7. Vikings - Derrick Johnson, OLB, Texas
Studwell's happy with his young LBs he says. Then he says competition for starting jobs won't hurt them. And that's where this pick comes from.

8. TRADE Texans - Alex Barron, OT, Florida State
Green see's an oppurtunity and takes it. He picks up #13, #47 and a 3rd rounder next year. Texans don't take a chance in loosing out on David Carr's saviour. I think we found Carr's new best friend.

9. Redskins - Troy Williamson, WR, South Carolina
With Coles gone and Gardner almost gone. They only have Moss in there, they snatch up Williamson. The Redskins now have the speediest WRs in the game.

10. Lions - Marcus Spears, DE, LSU
Giving Rogers some help on the d-line. Will help the LBs play alot better. Ideally wanted Barron.

11. Cowboys - Shawne Merriman, DE, Maryland
Hybrid defender, perfect for the new 3-4 system. Last hybrid guy Parcells drafted, John Abraham.

12. TRADE Browns - Shaun Cody, DT, Southern California
Crennell needs some people on the line for his 3-4 scheme. Cody is picked a bit high, but will fit in as a DE for the Browns. With more picks in the draft they can address all needs.

13. TRADE Cardinals - Adam Jones, CB, West Virginia
Trade down and still get their cover corner. Don't take a RB here because they traded for Micheal Bennet with their 2nd rounder going the Vikings way.

14. Panthers - Cedric Benson, RB, Texas
Workouts really hurt Benson, but Carolina get's their replacement to Stephen Davis. If Foster stays healthy, then they have a problem.

15. Chiefs - Carlos Rogers, CB, Auburn
Finally a corner that the Cheifs can trust in coverage. Their most glaring need has been somewhat filled.

16. Saints - Alex Smith, QB, Utah
Aaron Brooks is proving being Micheal Vick's cousin means nothing. Clearly his days are almost numbered, unless lighting a fire under his ass get's him going.

17. Bengals - Erasumus James, DE, Wisconsin
They signed Robertson to help out their young guys. Now they give Justin Smith a running mate at end. Should be a solid line, then maybe they can stop the run.

18. Vikings - Mark Clayton, WR, Oklahoma
Need a WR, take the most polished one in the draft. They can mix in their big recievers with little Clayton.

19. Rams - Khalif Barnes, OT, Washington
Hopefully he won't threaten to kill the coach. Stock has risen after season ended. Pace and Barnes will give STL stability at T.

20. Cowboys - Jamal Brown, OT, Oaklahoma
Bledsoe needs protection. Kurt Vollers would get Bledose killed. Jamal Brown won't.

21. Jaguars - David Pollack, DE, Georgia
Jags signed one decent end, they draft a good end. Finally stability on that line.

22. Ravens - Roddy White, WR, UAB
Ideally wanted Rogers to fall here. They settle for a consistant target for Boller. Now if only he can hit that target.

23. Seahawks - DeMarcus Ware, DE, Troy
Seattle needs an OLB and a DE......killed two birds with one stone. Ware can play either.

24. Packers - Brodney Pool, FS, Oklahoma
They need help in the secondary. Pool will be an immediate starter, who should be disiplined enough to not take lots of penalties.

25. Broncos - Anttaj Hawthorne, DT, Wisconsin
They need someone in the middle. Wether they go to 3-4 or 4-3.

26. Jets - Fabian Washington, CB, Nebraska
No tackle's worth taking here. Need people in the secondary. Will push for starting job.

27. Falcons - Travis Johnson, DT, Florida State
Ed Jasper is gone, Rod Coleman needs a running mate. Also need LBs but the line comes first.

28. TRADE Browns - Channing Crowder, ILB, Florida
Crenell see's his potential Bruschi here. Can't pass up on him. Shocking that a defensive coach goes defense in the first round aint it.

29. Colts - Justin Miller, CB, Clemson
This can't be a surprise either. Colts can score as easily as teams can score on them. Therefore Colts need a CB.

30. Steelers - Heath Miller, TE, Virginia
A good TE does wonders for young QBs. A good TE is essential for Cowher's offense.

31. Eagles - Kevin Burnett, OLB, Tennessee
Eagles secondary is good, their defensive line is good. Their LBs group is getting thin. Burnett will come in and love Johnson's blitz's.

32. Patriots - Odell Thurman, ILB, Georgia
They need to be under the assumption Bruschi is done. Need an ILB, Thurman jumps into the first round.

Clevland uses one of their 2nd rounders on a QB, either Frye or Campbell. Vikings obviously use one of their, now 2, 2nd round picks on the NUGE. And their other on a Guard.
That is all that is it........You don't like it, let me know. I will then explain my reasoning.

Did you intentionally or accidently miss Thomas Davis? (legit question)

i don't think that heath miller drops to 30. even if he is there, i think that the steelers will take matt jones.

the eagles are set at linebacker. i don't know if that means that they will not draft one, but between simoneau, adams, labinjo, short, and jones, they may not need to draft one this high. they are a hard team to predict because they do not have any glaring needs. i think that they will trade up, based on past history, and take an offensive lineman. one, maybe both, of the starting tackles will not be playing for them in '06.

OLB isn't a bad pick, but I would hope it doesn't happen.

Eagles just can't draft outside linebackers and receivers.

I can safely say i COMPLETLEY forgot about him. The next day I remmebered there was supposed to be another trade in this mock. Which had the Packers and the Bengals trading cuz the Packers want Davis and traded ahead of the Vikings thinking they might take him. Whoops, what can I say, I'm sure I'll rectify the situation in v. 3.0.

i can also see the Eagels wanting to trade up, just not sure who's willing to trade DOWN with the Eagles. And steagles, you seem pretty adament that Pittsburgh will take Matt Jones, but I think if Heath is there they will take him. I don't see another team with a GLARING need to spend a top 25 first round pick on a TE.

it may just be wishfull thinking, but if he goes to pittsburgh, he could be great.

i think that the eagles will trade the 31 and the 34 overall picks to houston for the 13th overall pick, which they will use to draft barron.
