The Bears waived WR/KR Daryl Jones on Tuesday to make way for DE Shurron Pierson from the practice squad. This is the 2nd practice squad player to be promoted in as many days (yesterday the Bears promoted DB Anthony Marshall)
Shurron Pierson came over from the Raiders in a trade 8/30/04 for a conditional draft pick. He played in six games last season with Oakland.
