Based on the players that NE is looking at, they are looking to trade up about 10 slots....my guess. See the notes from KFFL below..

Michael Felger, of the Boston Herald, reports the New England Patriots (http://www.kffl.com/team/24/nfl) have expressed interest in Georgia LB Odell Thurman (http://www.kffl.com/player/11356/nfl).

Michael Felger, of the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots (http://www.kffl.com/team/24/nfl) head coach Bill Belichick (http://www.kffl.com/player/1973/nfl) recently flew to Gainesville, Fla., to conduct a personal workout with University of Florida LB Channing Crowder (http://www.kffl.com/player/11217/nfl).

They may have to trade up about 10 spots (or at least above the Seahawks) to get Crowder. I'd be shocked if Thurman was gone before their 1st round pick and could probably get him by trading up 10-15 spots in the second round.

If they don't trade up they will probably draft Rudd in the 1st round. They have enough picks that they can probably trade up.
