Thanks fullxtension. I'm liking that draft for my Vikings.....Johnson and Davis....fills in 2 of our 3 immediate needs. Not sure about passing up on a WR in the 2nd round.
Bah well, Huddle Report is usually a pretty damn good source.
Thanks again.

Thanks for putting this up.
To be honest I'm not sold on the Packers draft at all:
1) For their first round pick, he's a solid pick, but he's awfully small (they have that in KGB) and the Packers have already talked about putting Hunt out to strong side thereby making the need more in the safety/DT/LB range.
2a) The QB is an OK pick, but I think it's a bit early and a bit of a reach.
2b) Huge reach. This guy projects to be a second day project, more of a nickel/dime back than a starting calibre safety.
3) Major meltdown if they grab this guy. He's projected to be a second day pick and lacks athleticism. Heck, I'm a Badgers fan and I'm going ... "this guy in the Packers offense?" Uh uh, they need a guard who can pull and run, you know the screen? He can't do it.
4) A smallish and slow inside LB? Uh uh.
5) A smallish CB? They spent a 1st and a 3rd on CBs last season, they also have some kids on the roster who were on IR, etc. I see them taking a DB for depth, but this kid is small and projected as a possible safety?
6) DT he doesn't exactly have great size. An OK pick, but JAG IMO.

No problem, guys...this draft is usually fairly intelligent (with a few teams in questionable standing)....interesting if nothing else..

Thanks again.I agree. . .I would have taken Henry or Gibson before taking Babineaux in that situation. And then taken The Nuge in the third to make sure we got him (they have the Bears taking him in Round 4).
I don't much like the Parrish pick, either, because I don't think he's going to be much more than a return guy in the NFL. Just my opinion, though.

i noticed how the Hawks took Sproles in the 4th, but, Frederick(WR) in the 5th???....i like Sproles(gives the team quality at Special Teams--but no way in hell can i envision Frederick(being a COUG fan...that pick would suck)...3rd rd a Center(could go either way in 2nd rd or 3rd --but , thats an area Hawks really need to address)

im not too sure on 1st and 2nd rd picks..seeing as how MGMT(Ruskell) is signing DT(Hardy), a DE(Fisher),signed a LB(Henry) trying to get Hartwell and has an offer sheet for Herndon(CB)...so going after Cody in the 1st and Thurman in 2nd is great and all, but, the D-Line has depth now,and would be simpler to draft either a LB or CB in 1st rd..then say if SA does get traded on draft day..go after either a RB or like i mentioned last post a Center in the 2nd rd..but, a WR in the 2nd could happen also.....

I don't see the Vikes waiting until the 3rd round to get a WR either...I would imagine that would be filled at 7 or 18...Personally would like to see Derrick Johnson/Mark Clayton or Troy Williamson or Mike Williams/Thomas Davis come out of the #7 and 18 picks...
