I live in Lewisburg, PA (The home of the Bucknell Bison). I have never experienced anything like last night, our whole local bar was packed I think everyone in town was there and they were into every possesion. When Simiens shot clanked off the rim the whole place went insane, akin to a Major championship. This is a region where the locals and the students do not have the best relationship, mainly due to economic differences. But we were all there jumping and screaming and hugging together. I think that this is one of the reason that we love sports so much and what it does for us and how it brings us together. Bravo Bison and we'll all be right there rooting for you against the Badgers!

Sorry...but Bucky over Bucknell.
The voctory was impressive, but I don't see them repeating that success in Round 2. But, I've been wrong about everything else, so who knows.

Your point about sports is a good one though....sports have a way of bringing people together that normally would absolutely not be "together".
