Seems they are not going to include those players who have not been playing. Makes sense really, don't want to make them liabilities for the championship.
They will include "4 or 5" players of that sort.
Many players who have become synonymous with recent American hockey glory -- Keith Tkachuk (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=558), Doug Weight (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=622), Brett Hull (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=3), Chris Chelios (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=80), Brian Leetch (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=13), Jeremy Roenick (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=4), Bill Guerin (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=605), Tony Amonte (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=55) and Mike Modano (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=40) -- might not be back in the red, white and blue.
Wonder if Canada or even other teams will follow this lead.
