I cant believe anyone could be stupid enough to give washington a #1 over any of the following teams: Uconn, Cuse, BC, Kentucky, Louisville, Oklahoma, Oklahoma state, Kansas, Wake, Ga Tech etc.

You can bitch all you want about East Coast bias and blah blah blah but the fact is I like Gonzaga because theyre a deserving team, i normally like Zona cause they normally have a better team. washington beat oklahoma, utah, alabama, ncstate, stanford, and arizona twice, thats tough to do, so you can make a case for them, and no way would they put three acc teams as #1, no team really deserved that fourth #1 seed over another

All in all it is a travesty. There were at least 10-12 teams that were better off getting a 1 seed than the team that was ranked #14 in the last poll. It's going to be great when Pitt embarasses them.

And make no mistake, Pitt will embarass them. Pitt is the absolute WORST matchup they can have in round 2. Washington has exactly 1 guy over 6'7 starting and their leading rebounder averages 7.6. Pitt's PG, Carl Krauser averages 4.9 for goodness sakes. Taft, McCarroll, Troutman and Gray are just wayyy too much for them inside. As long as pitt get good guard play; and theres no reason they wont when Krauser and Ramon have done well since the embarassing Bucknell loss, Pitt will embarass both washington and the selection committee.

I could care less about the seedings. None of the teams are head and shoulders above the rest to make a definitive case that one team should have been a certain seed. I have Louisville taken out Washington in the S16.

I'm in a little late on this argument, but oh well. In my opinion there were 2 other teams that could have gotten the last 1 seed, Louisville and Wake.

As the overall seedings went Washington was 4 and Wake was 5. That means that Wake has a slightly, very slightly, more difficult road to get to the Elite 8 to play Washington if the bracket holds. Switching Wake and Washington would not have done much, but since Wake lost in the 1st round of their tournament, and Washington won there's, I have no problem with Washington being seeded higher than Wake.

Louisville on the other hand got kind of screwed. I could have seen them taking that 1 seed, and they got a 4 seed. But they did lose to Iowa, who absolutly sucks, so I guess they shouldn't complain too much.
