His dad has been trying to get him to retire for years. As a Wings fan, it would be a shame if he retired. He is a great talent, especially at diving :D

he's prolly the best player in the past 10 years. i hated him, but respected him. Doubt there was another player who I feared more when he was on the ice than this kat.

He's been a very good player.....when healthy. I think one of the best in the NHL when he wasn't injured. But he was always injured in one way or another, just bad luck I guess. I think he's done.

His injury history is largely due to the way he plays. He just skates over the top of guys. Not exactly the stereotypical European player.
