Dont stand much of a chance as i rarely ever have anything good to say about the phils. I almost HATE them, yet as a phildelphia fan i feel cmpelled t still root for them, attend thier games, and even sometimes watch them on tv. Welcome to my hell.

That's very true. I think I finally found a balanced system for rankings. I'm calculating 2 different numbers to see which one is more fair. I'm debating on whether or not to include overall post count or not.

We did the BOTP, which was a neat, fun idea...most everyone had a good time with it. It worked well, but its still a popularity contest. I could cite a bunch of examples, but its not necessary. So this too, will end up being a popularity contest, since it is basically impossible not to be.


That being said, doing it isnt hurting anyone at all, and if people think its fun, then who is anyone to tell them they cant do it? I'm not singling anyone out, just saying in general.

It's more the first part than the second. I just added the second part to give my thoughts on the results which I could probably predict before hand. There are several Phillies posters that won't see past the second round yet their quality post beats the shit out of people that would / could win. All and all, I'm more against the timing and overall subjectiveness. I think it would be better served after the season.
