these tourney's let in some terrible teams, go by the regular season for the pathetic conferences.


Oakland had a 9-18 record going in and eeked out Oral Roberts in the finals to secure the 65th spot in the tournament at 12-18. AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

ousted might not be the right term, how about say "dominated".

true, it's bad when you are dominated by the 64th seeded team in the tournament.

If Oral Roberts couldn't handle their business against Oakland, what makes you think they would fare any better in the NCAA tournament?

Exactly. I'll add another point, Oakland started the year 0-7 because they scheduled top D1 opponents at the only time of year that top D1 opponents will play teams like Oakland. If anything we should be happy this team made it, they went out and played a tough schedule preparing themselves to win a game like this...

i remember when my old school UWGB was in the mid continent conference when i was a kid, holy shit did that conference dive once half the teams left to form the horizon league. it's a joke and will never be a good mid major conference.

Wasn't the UWM/Detroit game played at UWM?

Seemed like a pretty unfair advantage to me.
