The Associated Press reports the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/37/nfl">Washington Redskins are expected to begin contract negotiations on a long-term deal with WR Santana Moss (http://www.kffl.com/player/1367/nfl) once the swap with the New York Jets (http://www.kffl.com/team/27/nfl) for WR Laveranues Coles (http://www.kffl.com/player/1365/nfl) is official. Moss is entering the final year of his contract.

The team now must wait for WR Laveranues Coles (http://www.kffl.com/player/1365/nfl) to pass his physical with the New York Jets (http://www.kffl.com/team/27/nfl) Wednesday morning, March 9, to complete the trade between both clubs.
