Why would the Wolves want Kidd?

Why would the Twolves even want jason kidd? he does not fit the wolves offense. Sammy is much better, while sammy may be a bit older and not have much left, i'd rather have him for a championship run this year then jason. Kidd's contract is massive and he's coming off surgery.

if kidd could do this thing called "shoot" the ball, i might be ok, but the wolves arent just about running. KG can create shots and sam can hit em, and kidd cant. I personally like sammy better especially for the wolves offense.

Not a Wolves fan, but if you take Sam off the floor, you still have Sprewell and Wally that can hit shots. And of course Garnett.

i agree that having kidd, spree, and thud on the court running together would be exciting. but, when you had the best season in franchise history, you don't just go break it up. sam and kevin worked so well together. sammy got the ball to kevin in good position to score. then, if a double/triple team collapsed on k.g., he could kick it out to sam for an open 15-20 footer. sammy is arguably one of the best shooters from the mid-range in the game.

kevin can run, but he's best suited getting the ball on the block and hitting the fade-away...or just drop stepping and blowing by some chump for a dunk. you don't change your offense when it would not be beneficial to the best player in the league.
