....a new collective bargaining agreement gets signed or the Kings sign Allison & Deadmarsh to new contracts?

Of course, it could be that none of the above happens. The season could well be cancelled and Allison/Deadmarsh will only be two players out of the whole league that aren't playing anywhere.

Unfortunately it will be the new agreement. Allison, if he plays will be elsewhere and it doesn't look like Deadmarsh will ever play again. A sad thought about a player with so much heart and grit.
Deadmarsh will be missed as will the thought of having the once dominant LAPD line. I don't know where the kings pissed off the Hockey gods but it definately looks like they did.

I don't know where the kings pissed off the Hockey gods but it definately looks like they did. I think it's from when they traded so many key players (and then all of the players) from the team that went to the Stanley Cup finals. The ups and downs since then have been more on the down side.

The last two years have been ridiculous, though.
