Its a 16 team league and I drafted 7th...I know I am a little weak at SS and 3B.

For a 16 teamer that doesn't seem bad at all, but you do have some injury concerns (Mauer, Walker). Also as you stated you are weak at SS and third.


I would look to see if Clint Barmes is still available on the wire. He's slotted to be leading off for the Rockies this year and he plays short.

Also both Palmeiro and White are expected to be platoon players for the most part this year so I'd see if there was an everyday guy out there to fill the void at the utility spot. That way you at least are getting points on a daily basis. There's probably and OFer out there that might help.

Look for someone like Jeremy Reed (OF- Sea). In a 16 teamer he might not be available, but you never know.
