Overall a good lineup. Polanco is a question mark, but Meuller and Bellhorn on the bench is a great thing to have. Koskie's health is sometimes in question so having both of those guys helps that too.

I might want more depth in the OF. Not much there.

And the SP's are pretty weak, but you're very strong at the closer spot.

I'd definitely deal one (or shop them all), and see who you can get for each guy or some type of package deal to land you at least one solid SP.

BTW, I think Polanco is a decent player, but he's only a question mark b/c of playing time.

Otherwise not a bad pickup. I'd still rather have him on the bench then the starting lineup. You have that covered though with the two RedSox.

Which SP would you suggest going after? I will have to look in the OF position.

Do I start Bellhorn or Bill Mueller?

Really that's hard to say b/c everyone puts slightly different values on closers and SP's.

I would look for a guy on a good team that gets good K and WHIP rates if possible.

With your closers someone might be very thin and give you a solid SP for one of them.

Let's say you keep Lidge (very high K rate) and deal Benitez or Cordero.

Maybe someone like Mark Mulder would be available for one of these guys. He'll have a great defense to back him up and great offensive support.

Or maybe you could go young and go get someone like Rich Harden AND an OFer.

I'm really not sure. Value is in the eye of the beholder.

Mueller, he's supposedly healthy this year

I would start him, no doubt. Bellhorn has too many Ks

I agree. Bellhorn is nice to have on the bench, but if Mueller is healthy, play him.
