will Riveres bring the Chargers back up, or not? Tell me what you think
My usual answer is yes.
But let me think about something more controversial.
Good Q.

Hey I wasn't dissing SD or Rivers.
The Chargers ARE up !!
But Rivers hasn't been the guy (yet).
Do you think he can step in with the current talent and do a Brese-like 12-4 ??

once he gets a feel for the NFL, he should be about the same as Brees. Maybe even better.

I disagree. He is a poor man's Joey Harrington. He has poor arm strength, average accuracy, at best, and has good leadership. Good leadership alone will not get you by in the NFL, you need some physical talent, and he doesn't have it.

"poor man's" JH? Didn't Rivers cost a ton of money, despite never having received and NFL snap?
But, speaking of Harrington, I understand the Lions are looking for a backup for Joey. With the re-signing of Brees, Rivers is now expendable.

A poor man's Joey HArrington is the guy that delivers your newspaper. Fucker always throws it in the dog poo or the sprinkler.
