One has three names
One has ties to Hitler
One went to a college that no longer exists
One was thought to be a stud by Bill Walsh
One just plain sucked
Steve Walsh?
Edit: My bad...I see he was mentioned now.

When did Burris play? Never even heard of him

I think you got another one, surric. I believe he started against the Buccaneers a couple of years ago.
When did Burris play? Never even heard of him
Burris was a GB 3rd string one year (CFL) and the Bears grabbed him after we cut him. They signed him to steal secrets. Unfortunatley, he played a few times and was just plain horrid.

It also helps to have a thread in the GB forum with a list of every QB who has started for every team since Favre's streak began. :p

Never said any of these guys were good. ;)
He was a 3rd round pick in '90 or '91 I believe and was cut in '93. He started maybe one or two games in Ditka's last season ('92).

He was also a backup for the Rams for a few seasons. Warner actually beat him out for the backup role behind Trent Green. If he hadn't, Furrer would have been the starter in '98. He was a Vermeil favorite. Warner was actually the underdog in that backup battle.
He started a few games for the Rams back in '97 I believe.

Did you realize there's only been two 300+ yard passing games by the Bears since '99?
That's crazy.

I can believe it. Grossman will surpass that this year

No way, the last one was Furrer? His name entered my head, but I had no idea he actually started a game.
Oh, and cpt, you weren't the only one trying to do this legit.

Cool, That was hard to do, since I seen those names but had never heard of them and figured that there was not way they could have started even one game.
