Wont happen Minnesota is getting too much, Nets are getting too little, and the Blazers have had too many bad attitude players...

I think the Blazers get raped in this deal as well. Miles and Patterson have been playing well and splitting time together. Pryzbilla is actually doing pretty well the last couple of games too.

One trade rumor making the rounds Tuesday had the T'wolves sending Szczerbiak, Sprewell and Ervin Johnson to the Blazers for Abdur-Rahim, Darius Miles and Ruben Patterson. However, Miles is a base-year compensation player and this trade, as proposed, doesn't appear to work under league rules.

I'd want to focus on a younger durable point guard. I think we afford to shun Cassell and Spree because we can use them to aquire a talented disgruntle point guard from a team and have wally come from the bench and start. Kandiman has emerged as a solid basic center.

no offense, but you must've posted that with the nets game front and center in your mind. 5.3 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 0.7 bpg is not a solid, basic center.
give me janel mccarville over the kandiman

Try the stats from the past 3 games. or with Mchale at headcoach. Mchale is using him right, hes not flashy but he gets the job done as a good BASIC center... BASIC center.. BASIC center... Hes rebounding and hes making blocks. What else do you expect for a center? What double digit points? Shaq and Tao are exeptions. But players like Wallace, Bosh and Jermaine O'neal, they arent even true centers. Kandiman is a true center and hes doing his job. His numbers have been great the past few games and the team overall is looking a whole lot better.
Last 5 games he averaged 8 points, 5.6 rebounds and made 18 of 39. In the New Jersey hame they actually gave him the 30+ minutes giving him the opportunity to play well and he did. In that game he went 7 of 11 and made 3 of 3 freethrows. His season stats dont refelct the player that he is. Realize that the numbers he has "per game" inlcudes the games where he was featured for 2 or 3 minutes in that game. It is hard to gets stats from playing a lot og games like that. Lately they have givin him trust and hes executing.

I think they should keep Wally. Kidd would be a interesting addition. The only thing I know for sure is the team has to do something.

They can get rid of Spree, but if they trade Wally they'll regret it. Why would you trade away your 2nd leading scorer and most consistent player?

this week's SI says they may put KG on the block. i would have believed that was possible. but then they go on to say that whoever wants him also has to take wally and hudson. and that makes no sense.
