Ok... So I'm looking to fill out my fantasy roster... BUT the league I'm in isn't based off a draft... its salary cap... so I'm trying to fill out my roster with good production players, but I'm also looking for some potential sleepers or less known names that can put out BIG production... so help from any and everyone is welcomed... The roster needs are as follows...

Cap= $35.00 million

Cap Left= $0.12 million

Pitchers
1. Vazquez, Javier $4.85M
2. Hoffman, Trevor $5.13M
3. Chacon, Shawn $1.92M

C
1. Mauer, Joe $4.46M

1B/3B
1. Hillenbrand, Shea $1.96M

2B/SS
1. Utley, Chase $3.70M

OF
1. Newhan, David $3.65M
2. Crawford, Carl $4.21M

Bill Mueller's cheap at 3B. He won the batting title 2 years ago.

Is the scoring 5x5?

Is the scoring 5x5?
no... you get points from stats... HR's , SO's, BA stuff like that... for pitchers closers tend to be the best pickups since they pitch so often... but the good ones are usually like $10 million... so... not sure if there are any rookie closers this year...

Mueller was hurt last year. If they're both healthy Mueller will outperform Hillenbrand.

Heres my roster as of now (also updated above)... but I'm still open to any and all suggestions... I was actually thinking about Lofton as an OF and I'm gonna keep looking for rookie or young pitchers...

I may look to trade Trevor Hoffman for Dan Kolb... he should be closing for Atlanta and every pitcher there seems to end up being great... Plus he costs $4.23M where Hoffman costs $5.13M

Plus he costs $4.23M where Hoffman costs $5.13MI would absolutely do that. Than I would trade Hillenbrand for Dallas McPherson (starting 3b for anaheim..46hrs in AAA last year) and then upgrade a few other spots for stars. I would especially take McPhereson if players fluctuate in salary because I can assure he will go up. That dude will hit a ton of HRS.
