It's not going to end, Jets' fans, for as long as the Randy Moss situation in Minnesota remains in limbo, the Jets will be linked to him. On this quite Sunday with nothing much to write about, Gary Myers delivered his take on the Moss-to-Jets possibility and for once I actually agree with him. (http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/story/280357p-240282c.html)Myers makes a great point about bringing Moss to the Green and White. "In Herm Edwards' four years with the Jets, no player has been able to walk over the coach, and the Jets have a strong enough locker room that enough players will get in Moss' face if he brings his Minnesota act with him. Even though he could be a declining player, he is still an impact player and the Jets must do something to catch the Patriots," Myers wrote. That is the absolute truth, like it or not, the team needs to do something big to catch the Pats. Myers also brings in the John Abraham connection again; "There is no need for the Jets to throw in their No. 1 pick, 26th overall. Abraham is enough. Defensive end is more of a premium position than wideout." Again, right on the mark Myers, Abraham straight up for Moss should be enough, I'd even throw in a late round draft pick if need be. As tough as it will be to deal Abraham, it's the right thing for the Jets to challenge the Pats next season and beyond.
