I think the Phins choosing Benson at 2 is bad. They need a franchise RB but the need a LT just as bad. Benson isnt even the best RB in the draft; That'd be Ronnie Brown, who's faster, stronger, a better blocker, and a better receiver. The ideal pick here is trade down; the alternative is Barron, Alex Smith, or Mike Williams since theyre the only players worth that #2 spot.

Other good/bad picks:

- No way Spears goes in the top 10. His lack of explosion has been well noted and unless he has a very strong combine, hes going to be a mid-late 1st imo. He's also best suited for a DE in a 3-4 so I'd look for a team running the 3-4 to draft him.

- 7 may be a bit high for Cody but thats a pick of need I suppose. Ronnie Brown could be an option there too I suppose.

- I like the pick of Troy Williamson for Dallas. It fits a need and he's probably the fastest wr in the draft. At 6-2 hes not small either. Led the SEC for 3 straight years in Yards Per Catch and it still seems like no one except Kiper and a few others actually give the guy respect.

- I have a very hard time believing Mike Patterson will be a Rd 1 pick.

- If Antrel Rolle is the 4th CB taken I'll do back flips from NY to Hawaii. he just isnt staying on the board that long. Hes better than Miller and hes better than Jackson. IMO hes better than Jones as well.

- Taj could be the pick in GB but so could Channing Crowder. New DC Jim Bates has mentioned there's a chance that Barnett could get moved to OLB.

- NYJ need DB help. Their front 7 is very strong and I find it hard to believe they'd invest a 5th 1st rd pick on the DL (Abraham, Ellis, Robertson and Bryan Thomas are the others)

- Indy, believe it or not is actually good at Safety imo. Rookie Bob Sanders (2nd rd) was strong last year and Idrees Bashir isnt bad.

- Astute call on Chris Henry to Pitt. Especially if they lose Burress.

- Donte Nicholson is hardly a 1st rd pick.

I think 11 is way to early for troy williamson, especially since the cowboys have that spot and already have keyshawn and glenn and that young receiver they got for bryant from the browns. I think they will opt for some defense and williamson will fall to 23 and be picked by the ravens if the moss trades dont develop.

No way do the Eagles go WR in 1st Rd....maybe their late 2nd, or 3rd...but no way in the 1st.

IMO, they should go O-Line...or trade up for Derrick Johnson

No way Williamson will fall that far.

They won't take Johnson. The Eagles don't believe linebackers are that important and definitely won't trade up to get one. I do think they will take a tackle in the first (likely trading up), though.

Mike Patterson must be a hell of a player, but he's gonna get tired.. playing for the Chargers AND Panthers :P

No way do the Pats go S in the first. Depending on the compensatory picks, they could even trade UP for once and go for Derrick Johnson or Antrel Rolle. I think more likely is CB Marlin Jackson.

This is still tough to call til free agency pans out... CB and LB are the needs here, IMO.

The Broncos will not take Channing Crowder. LB is not an essential need for the Broncos, not even for depth.

I know...like I said, that my opinion as to what we should do...that would be wicked...Trotter, Jones, and Johnson w/Adams and Reese as the main backups...wow

anyways, I'd love to see us get another O-Lineman in the first...another franchise guy like Andrews...we'd be set for a while
