Robby Hammock
Feb. 10 - Diamondbacks GM Joe Garagiola Jr. plans to talk with Bob Garber, the agent for utility player Robby Hammock, in an effort to possibly re-sign Hammock to a minor league deal that could keep him within the organization, the Arizona Republic reports.
Hammock - who became a free agent Tuesday, when he cleared waivers after being designated for assignment last month - underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder last week and will likely be sidelined for at least three months.
