Cliff Floyd
Mets

Interested - Rangers

Feb. 10 - The Rangers, focused on finding another bat for their lineup, are mulling a Cliff Floyd trade offer from the Mets, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Floyd - who signed a four-year, $26 million contract with the Mets before the 2003 season - has $13.2 million remaining on his deal.

His struggles in New York are no secret. Floyd's missed more than 100 combined games in the past two seasons and actually admitted that he couldn't always play hard because of continued injuries.

He batted .260 with 18 homers and 63 RBI last season. In 2003, he hit .290 with 18 homers and 68 RBI.

Good riddance. One of my least favorite Mets. Bashes the team and hes always hurt. If your gonna bash the team you should at least be good.

Keep him, keep cameron also.Floyd is never healthy...he only played more than 150 games 1x and not in like 5 years. I agree on cameron though.

They want us to assume some $ from what Ive read which Omar doesnt seem willing to do which is fine cause Id like to see Cammy here. He and Beltran patroling the OF for the next few years would be sweet. And Milledge will be a stud and hopefully ready in 2 years when Camerons deal expires.
