I think it's safe to say with Farnsworth onboard in Detroit that it's possible Urbina will now be dealt.

This is good news for fantasy owners looking for another decent closer.

It's more likely Urbina will be dealt now, but I'm not sure if it will be any time soon.

I think Tram and DD really like the thought of having Farnsworth, Urbina, and Percival to pitch the late innings. If we were going to trade him, we would have to be getting some major league ready talent for him.

Also, I guess many teams are weary of trading for Urbina, because nobody knows what is going on with his mother. He says he will pitch regardless, but where will his head be?

With Troy Percival set as the closer, Farnsworth likely will join Ugueth Urbina in a setup role. The Tigers could still attempt to trade Urbina, who is due $4 million this season. Farnsworth recently signed a reported one-year, $1.9-million deal. Some teams, including the Cubs, need bullpen help, but have been hesitant to consider Urbina, who left the Tigers in September for Venezuela, where his mother is being held by kidnappers. Urbina is supposed to be in Lakeland for the start of spring camp Feb. 17.
