The way I see it, Affeldt, Sisco, Cerda, and Sullivan are the locks. The Royals will probably go with 12 pitchers on the staff, so there are going to be 3 more bullpen spots to fill among many vying for the jobs. One of those spots should go to a guy that can go long stretches (3 or even 4 innings). Camp showed that he could do that last year. There would also be guys like Tankersley, Jensen and George. Snyder would be one of these types of guys if he's healthy and ready to go. George and MacDougal are two guys that have a little history with Guy Hansen. He worked with both of them in Puerto Rico right before the 2003 season. MacDougal went on to become an All Star that season (of course he then fell apart after the break, much like Harvey did in 2004). Maybe Hansen can work a little magic with him and he can fill one of the spots. I'd like to see Santiago Ramirez. I think he could land one of those spots in the pen. We'll see.

It really only takes one respected poster to say "fuck ESPN", "I'm going to the Sports-Boards", and the rest will follow in droves.

I usually post over at what used to be Baseballboards, then Fanhome, now something about the Scout network. I just thought I'd go looking for a new board to post on, and like the setup of this one.
