Weekend series against NY

Boston is in the position to help themselves. Its a 3 game series so there is no split, they'll either be closer or further away. Mussina and Pedro both pitched last night so they probably wont be available this weekend. Should be some good baseball.

It should be a great series, with Petey meeting Moose in the finale Sunday night. While I always want to beat the yankees, it just isn't that exciting of a chase since we will both go to the post season anyway... barring an absolute complete and total meltdown by either team.

El Puke has been nothing short of dominating so far and he'll go up against Arroyo (3.49 era since AS break) Friday followed by Lowe vs Lieber.

If we weren't going to the Stadium I'd predict a sweep, but I got a feeling the Yanks will beat Lowe Saturday.
