Some of you may remember that I made NFL Rankings last year with my formula. Well, they're back this year. Since I'm in a rush to get to bed, I'll give you a preview by showing off my top 10 after the first week's stats:
1] Browns
2] Broncos
3] Seahawks
4] Packers
5] Rams
6] Vikings
7] Redskins
8] Eagles
9] Chargers
10] 49ers
I'll give more info tomorrow as to the numbers, the complete rankings, the method of calculation, etc.
For those skeptical of the rankings, I'll inform you that at the end of last regular season, all 12 playoff teams were ranked in the top 12 on my rankings.
yes please explain this 'formula'. cause from this distance it looks comical. Really, I'm curious to hear about it.

I believe Sully formula for this has mainly to do with strength of scdeule and wins and losses, thats why some of those teams are on there, reallistically in a couple weeks most of them will be off there
aaaah strength of schedule. well, if that's the main component in that formula, then I guess it's not so comical that Cleveland is on top based strictly on the way they beat up Ray-Ray's boys last week. But just hard for me to see that as a good top 10 with no sign of NE on there....yet the Charger and SF are there. something just aint right with that. LOL

I addressed this in the actual rankings thread, but if you want the link that shows what I use in my calculations, here it is:

Sully and I used to go 'round and 'round about this (in a friendly discussion). I don't agree with all of his elements, but basically it boils down to a fairly solid system. Yes, right now the Browns are ridiculously high, but after they fall back to Earth and lose to an average opponent, it'll be corrected. Also, if the Ravens prove to be a less quality opponent this year, it'll correct itself as well.
