Hey ow this hurts my eyes...there better. Hey since there won't be a hockey season, that means we won't make the playoffs this year! Oh no!! Our awesome record of 5,490 straight appearances will be ruined!! Oh no!

I think the streak can continue if there is no season...after all, how can the streak be extended if there is no opportunity by which to extend it?

Yeah the streak would continue. The only thing you would have to worry about is if they started the season in January and the Blues got off to a bad start.
