Rob Chudzinski was hired Friday as tight ends coach of the San Diego Chargers after spending last season in the same job with the Cleveland Browns.
Chudzinski replaces Tim Brewster, who was hired as tight ends coach of the Denver Broncos.
Chudzinski will work with All-Pro Antonio Gates, who caught 81 passes for 964 yards and set an NFL record for tight ends with 13 touchdown catches.
