Feb. 1 - The Mets were "lukewarm" Monday about a deal proposed by the Rockies that would send Preston Wilson to New York for Mike Cameron, Newsday reports. The Denver Post, however, described it as an internal proposal that the Rockies were considering, not a trade proposal.
Cameron, who's owed $14 million over the next two years, is expected to miss the start of the season after having offseason surgery to repair a torn tendon in his left wrist.
