Jeff Conine
Marlins
Jan. 28 - Jeff Conine, who had two winter surgeries on his right (throwing) shoulder, probably won't play in exhibition games until the latter part of spring training, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
"I'll be ready to play [spring games], but the doctor is recommending I stay out as long as I can to avoid a contact injury of some sort," Conine told the newspaper. "I'll be in later in the spring. Maybe the last 10 days."
