With the lineup rejuiced it's apparent that the only thing missing from another World Series Championship is the return of another original Marlin. Benito Santiago is the obvious choice, since back up catcher is a current need, but what other possiblities are there?
Chuckie Carr is long gone, as is Charlie Hough.
Dave Magadan?
I'm sure Orestes Destrade is kicking around in some league somewhere...
Alex Arias?
Trevor Hoffman?
I'm sure I'm missing someone....
Well they let one leave this off-season.
And there's another one out there still available, although he may not contribute much due to injury.

Not Conine... I am a pitcher who appeared in only a handful of games with the 1993 Marlins, stayed in Florida for a couple more years, bounced around the league for several years before returning to Florida for only a handful of games at the end of last season.
