I didn't know he had an ESPN gig, but I just saw him do the Memphis/UAB game on the deuce. I only heard the last 3-4 minutes of the game, but I'll give the guy credit - he sounded really comfortable and did a really nice job. Well spoken, described the game well, and was excited enough to enjoy a college basketball game but not to Dickie V levels.

Hopefully, he'll be able to get back on the other side of the scorer's table soon, though.

yeah i watched the game just to listen to him, he did a great job, funny though cause the play by play guy, whatever his name is, kept calling him jason and the graphic even said jason williams as color, he will always be jason williams

I didn't see that! Damn -- I wish I could've caught it. I really hope he makes a comback. Sad story. Two of my all-time faves, Hurley and Williams both taken out too early.
