If Smith hadn't been able to play, I would have gone with the Cowboys in a close one. As it is, the Cowboys have a heck of a defense, but they're going up against one of the best offenses. Should be a close fought thing on that side of the ball. Dallas has forgotten that you play offense too, much like Minny used to forget about defense. IMO Minny's D is good enough (not good mind you, good enough) to stop Dallas' offense.

Just another example that the "prevent" defense, in all actuality, prevents nothing!!!!!

I have no idea why, when the VIking "d" has stoned the Cowboy after the first two possessions, switches what has been successful for most of the first half.

Am I, or we, the only ones who can see this? Why do defensive cooridinators continue this?

Just being an observer of the game, there is no way the Minnesota defense can allow a td like that at the end of the half.

Ok, after watching this game so far, Im pretty confident we'll (Vikes) come out with the win, however, they're are some moderate problems. Rashun Woods sucks and needs to go QUICK! I'm not sure what the deal is with this defense but its revolting to say the least, and its mostly the secondary which is appalling and quite shocking.

But DC and Moss and Smith and the whole offense looks dominant right now and watchign them is gonna be cool this year.

I'll agree, the offense looks nearly unstoppable. And that's against a pretty good Dallas D, too. However, the Vikes D is not doing so well against a less than good Dallas O. Still a lot of youth though, and that should clear up as the season progresses.

the rule enforcement is BS IMO... and im not saying that because of moss and whatnot, but it will now become part of team strategy to hail the ball downfield in hopes of a PI call, and thats not football. There should be a fine line i admit, like the raping in new england last year should not be allowed, but making ticky tacky calls is gonna get real cheap real fast. I do however, think both of the calls in todays game regarding moss were legit, he woulda had a touchdown without the contact.

I know that Dallas is missing Woodson, but this still might be the best defense (on paper) that we play all year....and we're missing Bennett...so it's pretty even....very impressed with the offense.

However....man...this Dallas offense really isn't that good...it pales in comparison to Philly, Seattle, Green Bay.....our young guys are going to have to really step it up.

Not having seen most of the second half, my previous post of heaving it downfield to Moss on every series sounds like a legitimate, if somewhat questionable, offensive option.

And I say questionable in terms of letting some of the other guys (Robinson, etc.) run the fly patterns. But they wouldn't get nearly the respect that Moss would.

Good game. Defense didn't really impress me as much as I thought it would. Dalllas O Line looked prety good, stopping our line all day. Williams was laying down the HITS....ohhh wee it was sweet!
Moe with the sprained ankle is scary. Offense was unstoppable as per usual. Moss is a machine, geez I was in shock. I like the way they are spreading out the ball on offense now, makes the offense a lot more potent. Liked having BFarve in here, gotta have the opposing fans commenting. And Yukon buddy, you realllllly gotta get straight with your posts buddy.....

What a game! Randy Moss only had 4 receptions, but man did the offense do great. Daunte looked amazing out there and our O-Line had a pretty good outing. Our recieving corps has to be top 5 in the league.

Our pass defense has to improve, though.
