First and foremost we need to focus on the positive of this team, the defense finished #2 in the leaque in total defense, we had Antonio Pierce fill in for Michael Barrow and play outstanding while he was out of the lineup, Shawn Springs in my opinion was one of the keys to defense as he once again emerged as a shut down corner. This team played without three key personnel in Arrington, Daniels and Barrow. I think its imperative this team sign both Smoot and Pierce for next year and let Barrow simply take his money and run. Offensively we showed some signs of life the last three weeks, Ramsey goes into next year as our number one quarterback, I like everyone else would like to see Brunnell go elsewhere he is simply stated no longer a starter in this leaque and for what the skins are paying him it does not make sence to keep him on the roster another year, I realize he will be a major salary cap casualty but we move on, with Hasselback emerging as the backup for next season and we draft a kid this year out of college or sign a cheap veteran backup QB for next year to work with Ramsey and Hasselback. The addition of Jon Jansen to the line does wonders for us next year the guy is a rock of our O-line and will help to soldify our line going into next year, I would like to see us address the of guard from Thomas for next season. I think first and foremost we need a wide reciever next season to pair up with Coles, Gardner cannot be counted on to be a number two at least not for us, Mike Williams I would love to see in a Redskins uniform, I think Joe Gibbs needs to loosen up the playcalling alittle bit for next season as well, and clock managment has to get better. In the NFC next season you shoot for 9-7 and we make it to a wild card game, this team is still not good enough to beat the Eagles but with some key free agent additions and the right draft moves this team will continue to improve. Let me know what you guys think.
