If accurate, thats surprising. I remember he said he wouldn't mind playing right, but only for Beltran.

Thats upseting to me cause Cameron was always mentioned as such a leadership guy. I understand he has pride at stake but come on man. Was he happy losing last year? Does he need to lose some more in detroit or somewhere instead of being a met when we're turing this thing around?
The worst part is I felt like with Cameron and Beltran, our outfield D was gonna be a real strength cause we'd have 2 gold glovers out there and you really need that in Shea cause of the dimensions of the park.
If he wants out so badly fine but please no gimpy magglio; we have a terrible history with players coming off injuries and I dont want this team to go that route again. I dont want Sosa cause hes old and hes a diva. If Cameron is dealt what Id really like to see is Valent play everyday vs RHP and Diaz vs lefties since Valent cant hit LHP.

If he really wants a trade then move him. He had 30 homers last year but had tons of strikeouts and his fielding wasn't Golden Glove!!! Maybe thet can dump his salary to allow Delgado to come to the Mets and use Diaz or Valent in RF. That Diaz I think will be an excellent hitter if they give him a shot.

The request to be deal was definitely surprising considering Camerons reputation as a good clubhouse guy. He needs to put his pride aside and realize that Beltran is a top 10 player and he barely cracks the top 200.
