Hell, but looking at the situation, Simms is entering his 3rd year and if Griese re-structures and is here for several more years and produces, Simms may not stick around.

I just don't see special about Simms, Gruden may be out if he doesn't do something next year.

I just don't see special about Simms, Gruden may be out if he doesn't do something next year.The little Simms has played, he hasn't sucked, so only time will tell if he's "special". How many truly "special" qb's are out there that you knew were special BEFORE they got significant playing time? Plus, we don't need "special" (see Johnson, Brad) .

Gruden should be safe at least a couple more years ....
